Northwest Suburban Interfaith Council Event
Thanksgiving Interfaith Service - November 21, 2010
Congretion Temple Chai 7:00 pm
Our annual Community Interfaith Thanksgiving Service is definitely the most visible and popular of all our events. In the past 12 years that the service has been held, attendance has grown from less than 400 people to close to 1200 worshipers. A minister, a priest, and a rabbi give Thanksgiving reflections. Each year the speakers are usually the “new kids on the block,” an opportunity for people of all faiths to hear and meet the newest clergy in our community. An interfaith adult and children’s choirs, along with a bell choir, have been formed to show, through music, the unity within our religious community. |
