Thanksgiving Interfaith Service - November 21, 2010
Congretion Temple Chai 7:00 pm

thanksgiving cakeOur theme is "Walking Humbly with G-d." The service will include readings, adult and children choirs, a combined bell choir, a band, a performance geared for children and adults
and a video presentation. Refreshments follow the service.  Attendance is free, however, we suggest bringing non-perishable/canned food as donations to our local pantries located at Congregation Beth Am, Kingswood Methodist
Church and St. Mary Parish.

Our annual Community Interfaith Thanksgiving Service is definitely the most visible and popular of all our events.  In the past 12 years that the service has been held, attendance has grown from less than 400 people to close to 1200 worshipers.  A minister, a priest, and a rabbi give Thanksgiving reflections.  Each year the speakers are usually the “new kids on the block,” an opportunity for people of all faiths to hear and meet the newest clergy in our community.  An interfaith adult and children’s choirs, along with a bell choir, have been formed to show, through music, the unity within our religious community.
