Current Events

We want to bring to your attention this interfaith event taking place on December 10th

Looking forward to this year's Thanksgiving Celebration. Please save the date while we are working out some finer details.

Your Northwest Suburban Interfaith Council was at the Buffalo Grove National Night Out on August 1, 2023 to collect food for the hungry and to promote peace and kindness. Children were given a chance to color messages of kindness.

Great News. 2022 iWalk is an in-person event! Join us at Saint Mary Parish at 1 pm on June 26th for a 5k walk to raise funds for helping your neighbors. You may also use this link to make donations.

Celebrating Our Commonalities

The mission of the Interfaith Council is to foster understanding among those of different faiths, encourage cooperative social service efforts, and serve as an ethical and moral voice promoting the positive growth and unity of our community. This is done through open dialogue, discussion, fellowship, and collaboration to meet some of the agreed upon social needs in our suburban area. In this way, our community can break down barriers caused by the lack of knowledge about, and the fear of, other religions.
